Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Keung Lee, a luminary in internal and addiction medicine, brings over two decades of rich medical experience to Celesta Fit as our Chief Medical Officer. His journey in medicine is marked by profound achievements and a deep commitment to healthcare excellence.

With a foundational background as a Medical Director in two healthcare systems, Dr. Lee’s expertise spans across clinical research, medical education, hospital administration, and medicine. He has notably served as a principal investigator in over 75 clinical studies, contributing significantly to the advancement of medical knowledge.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Lee has practiced Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine in Asheboro, NC. His clinical practice is enriched by his roles in research, as well as his leadership positions as a medical director and board member in several healthcare networks. Dr. Lee’s dedication extends to public service, where he contributes as a Civil Surgeon for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

At Celesta, Dr. Lee is excited to leverage his extensive background in internal medicine and clinical research to enhance the health and well-being of our clients. His expertise, particularly in managing opioid addiction, is an invaluable asset to the Triad Primary Care Team and to all those seeking a path to recovery and improved health.

My adventure began in the U.S. Navy, where four years of service and two deployments in the Persian Gulf taught me the essence of discipline and the importance of physical and mental fitness.

After the Navy, I dived into the world of fitness, earning my Personal Training/Nutrition Specialist Certification in 2015. This was more than a career shift; it was a continuation of my commitment to disciplined living and mental resilience. I honed my skills independently at a non-commercial gym, followed by a stint in fitness sales at a major health club. But I knew there was more to my journey.

The Basement Gym, home to my 90 Day Body Transformation program, is a sanctuary of focus and results. Here, we dive into intensive, distraction-free workouts designed to sculpt, strengthen, and redefine your body and mind.
